FN Ammo info Please!

Post by vz58kid » 21 Feb 2015, 13:56

Are all of the bullets glued in place on all types of their 5.7 Ammo or is any Crimped?
Seems the Glue could/would break down easily in hot car trunks in summer after a few days?

Thank You!

No problem with glue, as long as it stays well-seated and water/humidity resistant. Just my take. I try not to get to overly obsessed.

FYI there is a very specific reason they are glued in and it has to do with the pressure of the cartridge.

The gluing when executed correctly is a great way of securing the bullet and much easier then the custom crimps I had to design.
