2012 SS197SR lead free primer:
Color hue on the bullets has slight variation in it too (had to throw it in for the guys on the other forum who freaked out over purple hue 197. 2007 Left, 2012 Right.

Have not fired the old SS197 SR ( have 2 boxes in my stash ), but the new LF stuff works very well. Will buy more when I can find it.

Now that it has been a week, can you do another shoot to make sure your primers have not degraded?

Just picked up 2 boxes of this at Cabelas and tried to pull the rounds to compare to older ss197. These rounds seem to be super glued in. Tried to seat them deeper to break the seal and it deformed the shoulders without breaking the seal. I then tried my hornady cam lock puller and it just trashed the bullets. I finally got one apart and measured the powder levels at 5.6gr which is the same as what I got from checking the older ss197. Was going to use the cases for testing upper level loads. But not if I need to destroy the bullets just to get them out.
