How to get a good deal on a Suppressor?!

Post by SeaHawkDriver-B » 18 Dec 2011, 08:46

I've got a few suppressors in my intenventory, looking to double that figure this coming spring. The only way I've bought suppressors in the past is straight from the high-markup retail gun store, at asking price, little-to-no negotiation. Of course you pay full price up front, plus the $200 tax stamp, then wait on the paperwork, and have to do a lot of the legwork yourself.

There has GOT to be a better way to buy a 'can'.

How does one find a "good deal" on a suppressor. The two AAC's I want, both retail around $1000 bucks. How do I find a better deal? Can I buy a suppressor out of state, over the internet, etc etc.. the paperwork with the local authorities and ATF would still be the same, right? Anyone know a place that sells AACs subsantially lower than the retail counter?

Try http://www.major-malfunction.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I have used him for 5 purchases. Even with the dealer charging a transfer fee his prices are better than buying it straight from the dealer.

Major Malfunction is a great company to deal with.

My local dealer just went class 3, I don't mind paying a little more to support the little guys, it's what keeps them around.

My local shop actually discounts the cans and even better, they just starting stocking a-bunch-o-suppressors. No waiting on the the xfer to the dealer in many cases.

my dealer tells me to order online and just pay the $50 transfer. he makes close to the same money but no state tax.
