The question I have is how Excel not be aware of the impact of this issue on their reputation in the firearms community? And knowing they have serious credibility issues, can decline to engage to improve their bottom line?

Personally I will not stop until my issue has been addressed. I consider the current situation to be theft. I am out $600 and if I add the shipping of this pistol to Excel, $670 or so. I am going to recoup this cost, through either resolution of the issue, reimbursement of my costs, or impact on their bottom line. It bothers me that the situation is thus, but it was not my failure to pay, or my failure to trust in their product which caused the issue. The issue was caused by their apparent disregard for the most basic criteria of customer service: communication.

The People's Republic of California ia partly responsible for the 9 round magazine limit these guys have.

Give them time to add mags with 20 and 30 rounds to make folks like me here in Neveda drool over their guns.

You are going to be waiting a long time, last time excel has been active here was about 3 years ago.

They could have knocked it out of the park and cornered the market.

These are not real common rifles or pistols. In some cases they are priced similar to AR's in 5.7X28mm but with a small magazine. Looking at Gunwatcher.com, there is nothing with major dealers.

Add to this, few if any user reports or range reports. I don't trust most gun writers to be objective.

For now, I am not at all interested. This is a shame in that they have missed a superb opportunity, especially with this group.

Seriously considering bandsawing mine up into little pieces with S/N legible and sending it to EA HQ.

LOL well you don't have to cut it up to send to us. If it's that band you can transfer it to me and I can destroy it.

I'd buy a pistol in .22 WMR if the barrel were, say, 5 or 6 inches. Eight inches for a .22 WRM pistol barrel is a bit too long for my taste. But the price is OK.
