PS90 practical range?

Post by JoJo » 11 Jan 2018, 13:51

Recently, I had the pleasure of shooting a PS90 for the first time. I am in LOVE! My go to gun for when the SHTF is a LMT AR .223. I know I can shoot it at 100 yards with enough accuracy to nail a bad guy in the face. Is a full barrel PS90 capable of doing the same? I do not see shooting at anything past that range because of MY accuracy....age and too shaky.

I have no doubt that around my grounds the PS90 would be perfect and more practical than an AR. I was shooting the PS90 at around 50 yards and killing cans and plastics jugs with ease but there might be occasions when I will need to shoot at a longer range.

Another consideration is hunting out of neccesity. I have friends that have hunted deer and feral hogs with a .223 and one of our members has hunted with a 5.7 hand gun.

Is the PS90 viable for this purpose?

200 yards is normal max.

YES you can use it for hunting. It's used all the time and is brutal as hell on feral hogs with the correct ammo.
