My PS 90 has had around 500 to 600 rounds of factory v-max run through it. Today I shot 50 and upon cleaning th bolt I noticed a small crack on the right sided guide rod. It starts from the the bevelled tip to the 'snap ring'. Could this be a serious issue? Has anyone heard of this before? :ponder:

Might call FNH and see if they'll replace it for you, doesn't sound good to me.

I will try to get a good pic, but its a small fracture. It spans from the 'snap ring' of the right guide rod to almost the tip. I know all this is recessed in the reciever but I'm not taking a chance. Called Bob at FNH and they are emailing me a pre-paid return shipping label to send in the whole gun. Not sure why this happened, even Bob never heard of this.

Today I brought my ps 90 to the ups hub, never thought I'd be sending it off at 1 year of ownership... On the plus side FN's customer service is the best.
