Pink FN 5.7 pistol

Post by Powerstroke Racer » 07 Dec 2009, 21:16

Anyone done one for a lady friend yet?

My daughter hinted at wanting a pink S&W .40, then I let her shoot my 5.7 and she fell in love with it so thinking of buying and having one done in pink for Christmas.

You could try DuraCoat.

I clicked on one of their pre-made designs with pink, although I bet you can order just a solid color paint if that's what you want. Here is the pink tigerstripe.

The tiger strip would be cool, girlie and yet still ninja.

Just be aware that no coating adheres well to nylon, which is most likely the material used on the frame.

A big thanks to Marcus aka toysir and Dale at http://www.gripreductions.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for making a perfect Christmas for my baby girl Samantha, you guys are awesome.
Marcus, for the killer deal and great fast service on the FN 5.7.
Dale, for the fast turn around and quality workmanship on the FN and AR15. I had Dale do a lil work on the grip of the FN to fit her hand a lil better then apply a generous coat of lady pink to both the pistol and her AR 15.
I recommend both to anybody in the Houston area for both personal and great service.

Glad it all worked out! She looks REALLY happy :D Think the 57 could have benefited from some contrast, maybe black controls.
Sure she'll be a hit at the range. Now Dad needs another 57 to keep the boys at bay!! :thumb:

That is by far the most amusing thing I have seen all day.
If a man dedicates his life to good deeds and the welfare of others, He will die unthanked and unremembered. If he exercises his genius bringing death and misery to billions, his name will echo down through the millennia for a hundred lifetimes.

That is a lot of pink on the pistol. As long as you daughter is happy with the gift, that is all that matters in the end.

Just saw this thing in person and it's not as bepto pink as it looks here.
They did a good job on the coating, now time will tell how it holds up?
Daves (Powerstroke Racer) loves it and thats ALL that really matters!
If its okay i am going to steal this pic for a post on my website?
