Double mag holder

Post by BadMrFrosty » 24 Sep 2015, 13:03

I just got my double mag holder from Charliemiketacticalsolutions.com in carbon fiber. It took about a week turn around but the guy who make them is a reading area LEO and he does great work. When he came into the range I gave him two mags and i pulled two bullets, dumped the powder, and fired the primers so he could form the kydex around the cartridge. Cost $49 including tax and carbon fiber print.

If someone else wanted those, would they have to send in their mags or did he make a mold?

Added the website to our holster list.

I'll send him an email asking him. I know that he has made holsters for the Five-seveN. There is one on his website and I've examined a carbon fiber MK2 holster last week. I brought in a PS90 mag for him to look at also. He was interested in toying around with making a double holder for them. I'll ask about that as well.

I would like to know the same thing, as that looks great, and I'd like to pick one up, especially from an LEO.

He said he would have to order some mags but i told him I have 6 mags and only need 3 for carrying he can use them till he gets his in. I'm dropping my mags off tomorrow so he is going to be ready to make whatever you guys need.

Update: he is ordering mags and he updated his website so the single/double mag pouch and holster for the MK2 are in the scroll down list. He's ready to take orders. I also am going to meet with him and discuss making a cheek riser for the PS90. I know dan haga has his design but he wanted an arm and a leg for it and this could be a cheaper and more custom to the buyer option.

I picked up my holster in carbon fiber from him last week and I'm impressed with fit and finish. I had to heat up the holster a bit to tailor the retention to my draw/reholster but this is definitely a great buy.

Wow! That carbon fibre looks incredible. And also that's a great deal too.
