Re: Brady Center needs money

OK, deep breath. Satire. It's a form of humor. Funny as heck.

Re: Wanting nice holster for 5 7

Already said, but I would put in another plug for Rusty Sherrick. Very custom, very nice leather holster. I have an IOM and he made me the holster for the round trigger guard. Reasonably priced too, for what you get. I don't remember exactly, but it was under $100.

Re: No questions' at Compton 'gift cards for guns' event raises

My police chief tried this one time (I was Mayor). Interesting results. Trucks full of guns like the one described above were from gunsmiths, dealers, etc. getting rid of the unrepairable junk. Cops weren't checking for broken firing pins and the like when they handed out gift certs. On the other ha...

Re: Just got a PS90 - First thoughts.

I just joined your club too. I broke down and bought a PS90. I have owned a FiveSeven since 2004 and love it. I got to shoot a full auto P90 a few years back and have drooled over it for a long time. After trying every string pull I could find, I finally gave up on owning the real thing and settled ...

Re: Heed the Siren Call?

When I bought mine, they were only available with the 10-rounders. I promptly purchased plenty of 20-rounders, 'cause we can in NV. I still have the 10's somewhere in the back of the safe if you need more of them. I can be pretty reasonable. It's not like I'm ever gonna need 'em. $369 is a pretty go...

Re: Heed the Siren Call?

It's nice to see you go through the thought process. As kind of the default "gun guy" in my circle of friends, I have had an amazing number of people drop by in the last year or so with the same questions and thoughts you have. I know this is generic advice, but we are here on this forum to get each...

Re: My first experience with the new gun.

I hesitate to reach so far back in the past, but here goes... I have an IOM, round trigger guard, that I bought in '04. By far my favorite handgun. When I first got it, it was not uncommon for it to just go click on the first round of a magazine. Never had a problem after the first round. I just cha...

Re: At the Range

57js must be here in Las Vegas. I stopped by the range and the rifle range was under renovation and they wouldn't allow "rifle calibers" in the pistol range. I didn't feel like going home, and the only other gun I had on me was my little Kel-tec p32 carry. It's not a gun I usually like to put a lot ...

Re: Tactical?

A day left, still not to the reserve price. Who's gonna jump in and let us know what it is really worth? A bad economy doesn't seem good for collectibles and safe queens, but GREAT for shooters.

Re: Tactical?

Funny I always see things like this one when I don't have a couple extra grand laying around. I'm also not much good at that "safe queen" thing. I'd end up shooting it, since that's why I have guns

Tactical?

Is this a tactical, or just a variation of the IOM older than mine? The back of the slide is different than that on my round trigger guard IOM. Thanks

Re: holster suggestions please

I had Rusty Sherrick make me a leather holster. It's a work of art. The 5.7 IOM clicks into it like a switch, and would never fall out. Nothing to press. When I want it out, just pull hard. Best of all, it isn't a safe on my side.

Re: CCW Owners

I have a NV CCW and my 5.7 is listed on it, along with several others, but the 5.7 is just too big for me to carry comfortably unless I'm in a heavy winter jacket, which is not often in Las Vegas. Most of the time it's just my little Kel-tec on me.
