I will make a video. It's pretty basic. You spray on a light coat. You let is set and cure for at least a week. In fact the longer you let it cure the better it will be. This is why when you get SS198 the is very hard and when you get the American Eagle ammo that was rushed out the door the coating ...

OK, welcome to the club. SS190 sucks for carry as it's only a FMJ. I punches nice holes but does little tissue damage. As you have found out equivalent does not mean the same, even more so when used in 5.7 loading since the case pressures range it works in is outside that of normal powders.

Because QL uses government models developed years ago. One being shooting a 30.06 over a lake at dead calm night and measuring the distance and time of the splash. The 5.7 operates at the edges of these models. The farther you move away from the baseline the less accurate the models. This is why I n...

Well your first problem is expecting the 5.7 to do something it was never designed to do. While you can get it to mushroom, it is designed to bend and tumble once it's in soft tissue. While the SS197 uses the Hornady V-Max and there are much better carry rounds the Ft. Hood shooter used it to great ...

Most likely bullets first, just to much demand for T6B and not enough brass cases.

Re: Fort Scott 40 gr. Solid Copper TUI
So, for my purposes, 6.6 is just fine. I don't think I need to got 6.8 or more. And just to verify that the panel was "working" I shot it with two 9mm about 1" apart. Entry, no exit, and about 2" of backface deformation in the (uncalibrated) modeling clay: Peace favor your sword, Kirk OH no worries...

Re: Ruger Stainless Rust Question
It has nothing to do with the metal, they are coming out of the box with rust on the slides. Brand new, in the wrapping and rusted BAD Don't get me started on all the other problems. Over a year ago I made video about all the things I thought might be a problem with the R57. Not only was I 100% righ...

That used to be the plan, long before FB, Gram etc killed off forums like this. This forum never ran add or banner spam. It was member supported. Those were little perks to say tank you for supporting the forum. Forums like this are making a comeback though do to all the anti gun policies of the soc...

Three, then sometime during the run of the MK2 FNH got fucking cheap and started shipping only two. This lead the new owners to think the gun stores were ripping them off by taking a magazine.
It's pure bullshit.

Agreed, it needs updating, I have been, time permitting, looking for a PHB wiz to do all the updating. Yes forums in general are picking up. Notice how you don't see ads? Now and in the 20 plus year life of this forum we have never ran ads. All updates and forum maintenance were paid for by members ...

Re: Primed 5.7 brass at American Reloading
I like 25% Lanolin to 75% 90% isopropyl. Not a fan of tumbling loaded ammo either. It has more to do with bullet setback and if you do it long enough you will break down the powder grains and change the burn rate of the powder. In the 5.7 when you are already dealing much higher pressures then 9mm o...
