I have the SCAR-L, PS90 GEN1 and the FSN. I guess great minds think alike haha. Personally I have heard good things about accurizing but for me it is to expensive. I buffed and polished every nick and cranny myself and it definitely helped with trigger pull and operates much smoother.:-)

According to Lehigh they are designed to fragment from hydrolic pressure, but it requires a faster velocity. They did not appear to tumble or fragment in that gel unless I am reading the results wrong. They were designed as a round for the AR15 and they have them already loaded for those that don't...

I would not recommend 55gr unless you are using it for subsonic loads. Re: SS190 ballistics from PS90
Well Guess what it does stablize. I would think the design engineers would have not made the ss190 particularly for the fn five seven, P90 and PS90 if it key holed right out of the barrel. You need to find better information buddy, there has been so much load data on the ss190 with no issues what s...

Re: SS190 ballistics from PS90
According to the formulas on ballistic stability that I am familiar with (Greenhill and Miller), longer bullets take more spin to stabilize, thus require a shorter twist. Since the barrel is fixed at 1:9, the limits of what can be stabilized are related to the weight to length ratio. The 31gr ss190...

Re: New to reloading 5.7, what are safe ways to work UP load
If you can get a hold of Hodgdons Longshot, it can be used in both the PS90 and the five seven. It works reliably and produces awesome velocities. It is the only powder that I use with the rifle and the handgun. It is the most impressive powder for this cartridge I think.

Scardog do you have the mk2 or usg FSN? This seems to be happening a lot with the new mk2 models. I have the Mk II. It's heading off to FN service for another problem and I'll tag that issue along with the other and see if and how they respond. It's shearing the base off and clearly must be an over...

Re: CFE Pistol test load results
This round was designed to operate with lacquered brass casings. I can see a definite KB if using stripped brass and the slide slightly blows back earlier than it was designed to!!! I would not touch it especially with a powder like CFE which is in very early stages of testing. That is just my 3 cents

You need to resize and trim your brass because if you don't the case necks crack just saying. This round is not 45 acp or 9mm it is much different and harder. I hope you don't hurt yourself!!!

Didn't the ATF make you not manufacture the trident line, those pieces of SH*t. I hope you can still manufacture them as well as casings for the 5.7x28mm. That would be great. I just read the ATF took 15,000 dollars of your merchandise from the internet and took all your BBS. It is the internet so I...

it should take a wolf no problem. I have shot a few coyotes with ss197 with great results even though wolves are about 2 to 3 sizes bigger, at least up here in north idaho I am confident it would take a wolf fairly easy but shot placement is key!!!
