Re: HS6 or Longshot?

I have loaded HS6. I didn't have issues with it other than my brass and chamber being a little dirty after firing, mostly due to light plinking loads. Sorry, I do not have velocity data. I used up what I had in HS6 on 9mm and didn't buy anymore. I personally am going with Long Shot now, as it is a g...

Re: Elite Ammunition 5.7x28mm Brass Update

Weeks! And I just sold my PS90 :-( But still have my FsN!

Re: Elite Ammunition 5.7x28mm Brass Update

Does this mean we are closer. Over thanksgiving weekend I went through almost 500 rounds letting family plink with the PS90. Now I am w ordering if I reload all that brass or wait for yours to become available!

Re: Elite Ammunition 5.7x28mm Brass Update

I know you are excited to have your own brass in house. So if we get into another ammo crunch/shortage, will you be impacted as badly as the last go around? The market is just now recovering from it and still hasn't stabilized IMO. Also, what, if any, will be the impacts to your ammunition pricing?

Re: Elite Ammunition 5.7x28mm Brass Update

I will sell virgin, primed, or un-primed and coated to anyone. :thumb: That's great news Jay! I already check in occasionally and have been using your case gauge and trimmer plate for my reloading. Would love to have virgin coated brass to do my reloads with, and will follow progress closely now :D

Nice Jay! Are you going to sell virgin brass to us reloaders? Or only for your production runs?

SOLD - FsN FastFire III mount

I traded my FsN USG, so offering up my FivenSevenReddot Burris FFIII mount for $30 (PP or other means if we talk about it) shipped USPS flat rate. Yes it is used, but functional. I don't check forum often, but please PM or post here and I'll get back with you. Keeping my Burris FFIII for use on my M...

Re: 5.7x28mm Accurate # 7 max load to HOT!!!

Thanks for the vid Jeff. I take it you didn't work up on your loads to 8.2? Regardless, I liked seeing what to look for in a video and to reaffirm why I always start low and work up on any load, even w/ 45acp. Man when I worked up my 45 grain BEEs over Blue Dot, I stopped when I saw primers getting ...

My brass never looks that good! I don't clean primer pockets anymore either, unless they area mess.

Re: Measuring powder with a Dillon 550B

Its not recommended. However, I use mine. Yes, small powder bar. When I setup, I run around 20 test throws to see what my powder is dropping at before loading any and then check it every once in a while to verify its still throwing correctly. I have a LED light setup so I can visually check each cas...

Re: Is there any end in sight for the powder shortage?

A friend invited me to go to the gun show yesterday. What a mad house!!! No parking available, and very crowded. Guessing everyone is in hysteria over the M855 ban and thought they could score some there, which I saw people leaving (early), as I was coming in, with cases of it. At ~$700 a thousand, ...

...Did anyone else notice if their box says "obsolete" after the bullet description? I am wondering if we are getting the last run of these bullets. If so I might order another box to put on the shelf for later use... From their website: NOTE 1. Original Design 2. Released the Eco/Green Bullet in A...

Re: Reloading 5.7x28 with a dillon 550

kinoons, as Rapier mentioned, once you have a set of dies that work for you, if you have the shell plate and pins from EA, all you absolutely need is the funnel A (if you are going to use Dillons autodrop for powder charges). I use it, but do so with extreme scrutiny. Make sure you measure a lot of ...

I haven't heard from him since roughly March. He had replied to a PM from me, and nothing since.

I hope he is well, and only he moved or something as such. I know I love the holster he made for me and my FsNs.

WElcome to the forum. This place is a wealth of information and the "tactical Search" up in the top right is very helpful in locating existing threads of interest. Regarding the Hornady resizing dies scraping the lacquer coating, I had to polish a lot more then I thought I would to get mine to stop ...

I love this pistol and have about 500 rounds through mine since getting it in January. It is what I used to gain my wife's confidence moving from 22LR to 22WMR to 5.7x28mm. Now she smiles a lot when shooting, and laughs because she can out shoot me with the FsN and PMR30!!! Really fun pistol!!!

Re: New FsN mags don't like my reloads

OK, I beveled the entrance to my Hornady resizing die and polished the heck out of it. It is no longer stripping the lacquer off my cases as long as I make sure it is centered properly on the EA 550B shell holder as it goes into the die. The resized cases also drop in/out of the EA gauge easily like...
