Re: bought 5.7 ammo RECENTLY?
Actually....I won the auction and spoke to the seller...his father was an FFL dealer that gave him ammo for his birthday......and yep....I managed to get him to sell me the rest of it for the same price.....so I am going to pick up FOUR unopened 2000 round cans of SS192....picking it up face to face...

Re: bought 5.7 ammo RECENTLY?
Just had a very interesting result for a gunbroker.com auction. I just won an auction for a 2,000 round sealed case of SS192 for $2025 [auction# 340826529]. The part that is causing a bit of concern is that the seller is unrated which raises a potential flag given the size of the purchase. I am expl...

If you go back to my post the Simple Green was diluted 10:1..they were left in for an hour with the solution heated and the ultrasonic cleaner on...ten minutes in the solution hardly does anything....I am thinking that the Lemonshine is the more likely culprit.

Thanks for the thought....next batch gets tried without the Lemonshine....however that is clearly the key to getting shiny brass with the uncoated brass.

Don't worry..I am not going to use Retumbo or H1000 in the 5.7x28........I also have a decent stock of Varget which I use all the time for 5.56x45 and 7.62x51.....I have seen a couple of other powder suggestion and I am going to keep reading and experiment with some "recipes" but nothing stupid.
