Sights: Fixed vs. Adjustable

Hey everyone, I'm wondering how often you adjust your sights on the FsN? Mine stay set to the most common ammo I shoot, but maybe I'm just weird!

If a myriad of front sight height options were available, would an adjustable rear be so important?

Whatever the case, if it wipes off fairly easily I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

In addition to those mentioned above, look for signs like flattened primers and case neck moving excessively. If you don't have a chrono, get one. It's a good tool that you can pick up for less than $100. Compare your velocities to those posted by others, for reference. I work up to max listed loads...

So they beefed up the MKII frame? Good deal. My plan was to have a thread-on comp with an aesthetic 'match weight' (as shown in the picture). This would make it safe for both the USG and the MKII I think.

I've not had this problem, but it could be a number of things. 1. The firing pin should be held captive, not able to fall out of the channel. Are you sure it was installed correctly? If you lost the retaining pin it may be sticking too far out the back. 2. Sometimes the firing pin channel gets block...

New Custom Slide Cover (Plastic with front slide serrations)

Have the first prototype done. Basically this gives you front slide serrations and a way to mount your red dot without removing the rear sight (hopefully...haven't been able to test that aspect yet). I'm working on getting the finish right. It's currently a bit different from the frame. Don't hate o...

Not a choice on the poll, but I would prefer 5/8" extended and threaded. That should be good for a suppressor and thread adapter. There are already 2 companies handling stock length threaded barrels. I don't see any point to you getting into that unless you can smoke their price. Even being slightly...

If we're talking about the same rattle, it's actually occurring in the mag itself, which is why it only happens with the mag inserted. It's the second-to-the-last round making the noise. Take a loaded mag, push the top round down simulating what happens when it's inserted in the gun, and rock it bac...

Welcome to the club and congrats on the purchase! Kevlar would help in the event of a KB, but don't sweat it. If you're not afraid to shoot your AR with the bolt/hot gases flying toward your face then I wouldn't be worried about the FsN. However, a little added safety never hurt anyone. Glasses: $3 ...
