WTS: Left-hand holsters for FsN USG

I have for sale two left-hand holsters for FsN USG. They may fit other models but I make no guarantees. First one is a Desantis Thumb Break (with suede lining). The other is a Blackhawk Serpa (both paddle & belt attachment included). Both are barely used in excellent shape. Asking $75 for both. Ship...

Re: Accurate Arms #5 and #7 Data

Wow. Blast from the past. I haven't loaded any 5.7mm with Acc#5 since like 2009. Acc #5 is, in many ways, very similar to True Blue. Deceivingly similar. Both have very comparable burn rates and powder charges. They look very similar, both are very fine & meter well. BUT..... Acc #5 pressure will st...

Re: Best 9mm Carry Gun Under $400? Ruger LC9 in my book.

Best 9mm Carry Gun Under $400? What a requisite. And since "carry gun" apparently really means single stack, that pretty much narrows you down to: 1. Ruger LC 2. Keltec PF 3. Taurus PT (maybe 1-2 more I'm not thinking of) whereas, above $400 you have: 1. Beretta Nano 2. S&W M&P Shield 3. Springfield...

Re: Archery stuff

Me thinks new bows are overpriced crap. Get on ebay & find yourself an old Grayling-era Bear bow. A kodiak or grizzly or something of the like. They can be had for under $150 (a few years ago could get them around $75-100) & will beat anything around these days. Plus the grayling era ones hold their...

CZ 10mm prototype

For those of you who havn't seen this it has been a hot topic on the cz forum for a few weeks. I know we have some 10mm & some cz fans here so thought I should share. Apparently it's a prototype, who knows if it will ever hit the market. But it sure is ...

Re: Pocket handgun for coyotes?

I remember the Gov. of Texas telling a story about dispatching a coyote with his Crimson Trace equipped LCP while jogging. So... apparently, they work. Mike I better chime in here since y'all are talking about killing my earthly brethren. As Mike said, Governor Perry used a Ruger LCP in the "lowly"...

Re: 40 grain V max vs 40 gr BT?

I cannot comment on penetration or weight retention. It's been my experience that the 40gr Nosler BT cannot be "pushed" as hard the hornady vmax before signs of pressure start to show up. I've always assumed it's because the Nosler has a slightly different shape with more bearing surface on the bore...

Re: Budget Tactical Flashlights

I read through a couple flashlight threads.. 200 dollars for a flashlight? Some of you guys are serious about defeating your darkness. I havn't been actively on the forum for a while so i just saw the 'new' flashlight forum. I am a certifiable flashlight geek. I own about 15-20 lights ranging in pr...

Re: Suppressor for 300 Blackout SBR Recommendation

I like swr/silencerco as well. As I said I'm running a swr trident 9mm can on mine now. The new octane is supposed to be pretty sweet. I still would lean towards a compact .308 can personally. I like my cans to be overbuilt so that I can throw whatever through them without worry. While sure the 9mm ...

Re: Suppressor for 300 Blackout SBR Recommendation

If pricing is important I would consider the hunter if you don't mind waiting a few months as they are brand spanking new with an msrp of $650. Remember on the QD to add $100 for a flash hider adapter from AAC for every gun you want to mount it too. There are lots of reasons I prefer non-QD cans tha...

Re: Suppressor for 300 Blackout SBR Recommendation

Sdn6 by all accounts is a good can. Not very quiet on .308s but just fine for .300 BLK, which is exactly what aac says on their website. I was looking at that can for a while but never pulled the trigger as I personally prefer direct thread cans over QD. The new AAC Hunter is basically the sdn6 with...

I have a case of cci pistol primers that I've deemed 'not fit for use' for ftf in several guns.

I don't see any sort of lot number or I would share and compare.

I am using an swr trident 9mm can right now (for subsonic only) but I'm looking at the new AAC hunter so I can just leave on for supers.

Was basing original asking price on FN selling them for $500 new.

I guess the demand is not there to justify that pricing.

Had Tornado Tech thread the factory bbl. I think it was $150 and that included a thread protector. They currently only offer the service on sp01 or other cz with .550 bbl (75b uses .502 diameter). I still would like get threaded bbl for the 75b but can't find one since efk quit making them. To cenca...

Re: New Member looking for rifle data

Are there any trailboss loads? Love that powder. Just curious, what load do you love trail boss for? I have not heard very good reports on it with anything other than what it's designed for: low-vel lead bullet cowboy loads. Even the guys using it for subsonic .308 are reporting marginal accuracy a...
