Re: The Official Snake Thread
Ah! See? Common mistake there in Texas. That actually isn't a mosquito. That is a Mayfly, commonly called a 'skeeter-eater' in these parts. Not sure why they are called that unless they eat the skeeter larvae... They look similar. So if one lands on my arm, do I wait until it bites before I swat it...

I agree with your remarks about gold. However, I feel that silver has a lot of upside potential, even if in the short term it only gets back to it's 2011 high of $50.

Don't let online sites and TV personalities convince you to buy when the markets are erratic. They get paid for doing these things. I did buy A BUNCH (more than $10,000 but less than $1,000,000) back then when silver was around $15 and gold around $1000. Got a bunch too. But, I like to buy smaller amounts during dips.
Latest predictions are for $200 silver and $2,000 gold in the near future.

Seems like a good tine to buy silver, if one has extra money hanging around. It has dipped back to where it stated the year.

Good on them for taking a stand and getting help where they need it. I agree with Wolly about the potential breakup of the "57" United States. Can see it happening over healthcare right now. You do understand that people have been trying to force unrest, right? You can come to your own conclusion as to whether the President is involved in that. So if 10,000 people protesting had Obama calling for the President of Egypt to step down, what do you think he would do if there were 100,000 (...
