Re: M&P 9mm good deal?
One of these days I have to pick up an M&P. The experience I had with one that I fired was really good. The only upgrades were HD sights, and the APEX trigger. It wasn't a refined 1911 by any means, but I didn't expect it to be. I liked it as much as I like Glocks, not pleasing to the eye, but it wo...

As said before, go with 9mm. That will be the most economical. Next closest thing will be an oddball round. Although no one mentioned 9x25 dillion. You can push an 80 grain bullet well over 2000fps out of them. Just through a comp on the end, and you should be good to go (except your ears of course).

I've never bothered with any of the buffers. The ones to really stay away from though are those complete guide rod / recoil spring recoil reducing ones. Snaproll,
You're going to have to be accurate with every handgun no matter what the caliber. I certainly wouldn't consider the FsN a mouse caliber gun cause of the charge, but really every basic pistol round is anemic to any basic rifle round.

They were one of the few there not trying to feed me a plate of BS about their guns (they didn't even try and sugar coat the price of the Ballista, and they didn't seem happy about it). Stag, RIA, and Sig didn't get very high marks. Somehow Remington, Ithaca, and a few random others did. Mostly I wa...

Re: FNP-45 Tactical, is the mag problem solved?
The FNX45 has different mags, and a larger internal diameter in the frame. I posted a thread on this somewhere on here when I spoke to the FNH reps at the JSC show. Most of the issues in the FNP45's were with bulk ammo. Basically the ammo had too large of an OAL since bulk ammo spends less time on t...

I rarely post pics (only because I have to use the cell, and I'm only half competent with computers), but never really took the time to blur out serial numbers either. Everything I buy is through the shop (get things at cost basically), so why pay more for used on the open market, or buy new somewhe...
Re: PX4 Storm
Irish, Didn't the choice come down between the P226 and the M9 back in the 80's? I just remember the M9 getting the pick because of price, although it got beat out by something (could be the 226 or something else) in a lot of the tests. Who knows though, it's late, and my memory is horrible anymore....

I have an ACR enhanced on order right now at the shop. Just waiting for bushmaster to make it and send it. Once that comes in the SBR paperwork is getting started, and I have a micro and a geisselle trigger to go in it. For 1500 I wasn't passing up an ACR. Once this crap mess is all finished up with...

I talked to a few guys at the RIA booth at recent dealer show. They ranked right with Stag Arms booth in my book, which was as low as they could get. Double checked today, and the differences between the two are all internal, and it's the magazines, and they opened up the magwell for the new mags. I never had any issues with mine not fitting bulk ammo, but I guess enough people did.

The barrel kits will also be going out for the 300 win mag, and the 308 win, and each kit is going to be around 1900.00. For the money I'd just build off a Montana 99 actio...

And they list the FNP9 and the FNP45 as well.

I had the same problem on an Enfield once. Once any and all pins are out of the band, half the time it comes right off, and the other half it needs to be tapped off. Just go slow with a brass or nylon punch and a hammer.
