Re: M&P 9mm good deal?

One of these days I have to pick up an M&P. The experience I had with one that I fired was really good. The only upgrades were HD sights, and the APEX trigger. It wasn't a refined 1911 by any means, but I didn't expect it to be. I liked it as much as I like Glocks, not pleasing to the eye, but it wo...

Re: Welp, looking for a second pistol.

As said before, go with 9mm. That will be the most economical. Next closest thing will be an oddball round. Although no one mentioned 9x25 dillion. You can push an 80 grain bullet well over 2000fps out of them. Just through a comp on the end, and you should be good to go (except your ears of course).

HOW TO INSTALL A SOUTHERN HOME SECURITY SYSTEM ......... 1. Go to Goodwill and buy a pair of size 14-16 men's work boots. 2. Place them on your front porch along with a copy of Guns & Ammo Magazine. 3. Put four giant dog dishes next to the boots and magazines. 4. Leave a note on your door that read...

Re: Strike Industries Shock Buffer

I've never bothered with any of the buffers. The ones to really stay away from though are those complete guide rod / recoil spring recoil reducing ones. The shock buffers just wear out, and at worst cause a jam, but the others can blow out the hole where the guide rod slides through and destroy a sl...

I'm just curious why if he is shooting skeet is he only shooting with one extended choke. When I used to shoot skeet and sporting clays a lot I always used two extended chokes, not just one. 5 stand is a different story. Just the first time I've seen someone using one extended choke instead of two.

FNS No Safety

Just wanted to pass on the word, and mods delete if against the rules or anything like that. Our shop just got in two FNS's with no safety if anyone has any interest. They are 9mm, and have night sights. They were supposed to be demo guns, but never ended up being used. Normally these would be LE/MI...

WTS: Bechmade Adamas and Glock 19 Barrel

Just a copy and paste from another thread since my Sig sold. Also for a sale is a Glock 19 Gen 4 barrel (should work in any gen since they don't differentiate for aftermarket). This is a factory barrel. I've since replaced one with a storm lake just for the sake of tinkering. I used this barrel for ...

Re: A strange Text conversation I had

We were just talking about grenades in the shop after some guy got busted as a hitman for hire. Apparently some lady hired him for the low price of 5000 (what a deal) to kill her husband. The guy got pulled over and had a kevlar vest, and two grenades. We were all wondering what exactly the guys pla...

I've only gone off on someone once, and borderline another time. The first time where I was ready to go off was on someone at ATT due to them wasting my time and giving me the run around. Finally I just said I want to talk to your supervisor and no one else. I'm not going to complain about you, but ...

Hmm more expensive than rocks selling pmags for outrageous prices, who would have guessed. Actually I saw this earlier when some guy was complaining about the price of pmags we were selling (they are 12.99 by the way) and said CTD was selling them cheaper (he must have looked long before the electio...

Re: Reconsider the FsN

FN wasn't shipping them for awhile, and is just getting ready to start shipping in a month or two. Rumor was they weren't producing them for a few months, and all the backorders piled up (plant was on strike). He was right in saying no distributors have them. The only ones we could get were LE guns ...

Beer and battery powered radio. Figure things will be over before I'm done with my case of beer, and listening to jimmy buffett by the pool. Maybe grab a handgun too, and finally shoot it underwater in my pool. It would amuse me for a mag or two.

That's a kinda cool back story to it, and definitely something you don't see everyday.

I'll pass though, I'm not into collectable guns unless they are family guns.
