AR 57 MISS FIRES

Took my new AR57 to the range today. All went well for the first 100 rounds. I was very impressed with the accuracy 1.25 to 1.5 inches at 100 yards. Than I started to get miss fires. On taking it apart it appears the extractor is chipped, and the ejector is frozen (can not compress with bolt in vice...

Re: HK MP7 chambered in 5.7 x 28

23Q19, I hope it works out. The MP7 in my opinion would be the ideal platform for the 5.7 cartridge. Light compact, short and flat. good luck

AR 57 FALSH HIDER REMOVAL

I have an SBR 5.7, and want to remove the boring , 80s era flash hider and replace it with a comp, and on occasion my suppressor. It did not come off with a good twist, I hit it with a propane torch, still nothing. Does any one know what the deal is?

Re: 5.7 ammo compared to HK 4.6?

US mil SPEC OPs units have been using the HK P7, in 4.6. I got to shoot one for several hours a few years back and was impressed with its ability to place long (5 rounds) full auto bursts into 8 to 12 inches at 20 yards. Feed back from the guys is: It kills people, it takes 5 to 10 rounds to do what...

Re: Storing 5.7 Ammo

Consider using a heating element for your safe. There are several made just for this purpose at reasonable price. It keeps it dry inside as a previous poster mentioned low, no humidity is good for ammo. Good for your guns, good for your ammo. r gunfrog
