5.7 brass sources

A while back, the Scharch once fired brass was available (and I picked up some).

Was wondering if anyone knows of any sources for decent, once-fired brass. I saw some on brass man, but it's priced about twice what the Scharch brass used to cost. Thanks...

Hmm...there ought to be a law. Wait! Aren't machine guns already illegal for civilians to own in New York?

Update: The bills are now in the house in committee. A couple of them were amended in committee (Senate side) before moving over to the house. The good news is that both of the affected bills are in the right committee--the chairman is a member of our state level 2nd amendment grass roots organizati...

Those of us who have shouldered the burden of command understand. Then there are the ones who have been organizing communities--they will likely never get it. That doesn't mean we're better. It's just a fact.

Nice pics. Based on the primer above, it appears your loads are solid. It looks like there are two horizontal lines just below the necks on the elevation (vertical) photographs of the cases. Were these just scuffs, or did it look like the brass was separating (neck separation)? I played with the pho...

The Hornady die works great for me. How are you metering the powder?

Let us know how it goes at the range--you may want to note how the gun's recoil compares to comparable factory rounds (SS197). Pics of the cases (necks and primers) would be great.

Three Gun Bills Advance in Georgia--very interesting

Three Georgia gun bills have advanced successfully (i.e., before the crossover date deadline) from the State Senate to the State House: SB 26 (eliminates Katrina provisions): Makes it illegal for anyone in any official capacity during a declared emergency to: * Temporarily or permanently seize firea...

As for the safety switch on the FsN - I normally don't use the safety on my FsN. I am too afraid that if I need to use the weapon for defense that I will forget to switch it off & will end up with a "negligent non-discharge" when I really don't want it.
