Re: Forum Input for Cans
The reflex suppressor is a pop gun with FN sub-sonic ammo, however the ammo is VERY dirty causing fouling in the barrel and bolt. I suspect this might well be due to its being designed for use in a 10 inch barrel and the longer 16 inch barrel traps too much debris. It caused a bullet to jam in the b...

Re: Forum Input for Cans
Well boys, I suppose I will have to finally post a photo of my proprietary reflex suppressor for the PS 90 I designed and built. The platform is a standard 16 inch barrel PS 90 with a quick detach (1/4 turn) titanium suppressor which slides over the entire barrel and has the look of a P90 with a scr...

Re: Suppressing a PS90 without SBR
I have designed this suppressor and have been testing it with loads from EA and have tested it with other available Sub Sonic loads along with super sonic blue tip FN ammo. It is a relex suppressor which slides over the 16 inch barrel and extends only about an inch beyond the flash hider; the look i...

Re: A victory in MI
We need to be writing to our federal legislators and have this changed at the NFA level. I wrote the following to my Senators and Congressmen: I think everyone needs to be doing this in each state. I am a huge proponent of the reduction of noise pollution and anything to reduce the sound of gunfire ...

Re: WTB PS 90 barrel
I could use a take off as long at the threads can be chased and cleaned up... if you think of who it is, please let me know. Otherwise I'll probably do a form 1 short barrel out of it. TROS can cut the barrel and crown it for short money.

Re: Why not Lobby for Suppressors
Suppressors are just simply suppressors. They are not Hollywood quiet devices, so crowded subdivisions would still know something funny was going on. I don't really think that it would become an issue.

Just got a Black Ring sight
I now have both Black and White Ring sights. The White is very cool and appears to have a slightly larger field of view. I think that it would be great with the REM3 as I have seen it once and I liked the platform. I just got a new Black Ring sight and I love the dark reticle as it is very easy to p...

Re: Why not Lobby for Suppressors
I don't agree, I think if it's approached from the noise pollution stand point, exactly as they do in Europe where they encourage silencer use, we might be able to get through to them. After all, that is my beef on it.... guns are just too loud! Once you use a can, you always want a can. As far as p...

Re: Why not Lobby for Suppressors
A well stated and thought out post for discussion, indeed worthy of discussion. Just let's please be careful to not suggest the forum in any way would encourage violation of law. Not trying to get anyone to use a suppressor without doing the paperwork, that would be foolish. I am only suggesting th...

Re: Why not Lobby for Suppressors
I hear your frustration with Politicians... and I agree that there is a lot of hysteria involved with most controversial issues, guns in particular. However I do believe that if people were to be educated that suppressors have no place in the field of 'evil' weapons, but a rightfully earned place in...

Why not Lobby for Suppressors
I wonder if all the gun owners in the country lobbied their representatives in Congress to allow legal ownership of a suppressor with the simple payment of a $100 tax and no paperwork other than that required to own a handgun if it would fly? Let's face it, they have the BATF in operation to oversee...

Re: PS 90 integral suppressor for 16 inch barrel
This should not be much larger than the Gemtech fake suppressor as my design calls for the heavy lifting to be done by the main chamber and not be dependent upon a long section in front of the barrel. Over all it should be about the size of a screw on suppressor in front of the 10 inch Short barrel....

Re: PS 90 integral suppressor for 16 inch barrel
If you have ever seen the Gemtech fake suppressor which slides over the barrel, this will look very similar. It will have a QD sleeve which fits with a very close tolerance over the base of the barrel at the receiver and the lugs will engage the suppressor to lock with a quarter turn. It will use a ...

PS 90 integral suppressor for 16 inch barrel
I got my form 1 to build an integral type suppressor to fit over the stock 16 inch barrel..... I designed it to be a quick detach system to fit over the barrel which allows use on any standard PS 90. I'll build it from titanium to keep the weight down along with having great strength and corrosion r...

Re: New trigger, just found it!
I bought two for my PS 90's and shot them with KG Gun coat, polished the gun coat after baking at 325 degrees to set the ceramic with a light Scotchbrite pad to make it very smooth and WOW... that is one nice trigger! Great feel; far better then the cheap plastic trigger. And it makes the gun look l...
