GONRA has excellent luck screwing around with "subsonic loads" using a Very Thin Film of STP OIl Treatment on EA 07 brass handloads.

Those little blown out brass discs are where the firing pin channel debris comes from.

GONRA's experience is that you're best served to "resize 5.7 brass" on a large robust single stage press to get consistant headspace. Fired 5.7 cases can/will hava a "body bulge" that is really different from the usual reloading we all are used to. RCBS SMALL BASE dies verk great for me.

Make sure it doesn't buildup in the neck of the chamber.

GONRA just loaded em up. Didn't measure anything - yet. (Using FN brass, my SMALL BASE RCBS dies resized exactly to Factory Sample cartridge diameter specs. GONRA suggests: Measure resized cases vs. factory ammo to see if the dies are copulated up. If THAT'S OK, check centerline alignment of your press / dies / shell holder. As usual, GONRA suggests trying STP Oil Treatment asa case lube. May have to rotate case holder to find a "sweet spot" - best axial alignment in your press. If THAT verks, then you know YOUR current case lube isn't OK for YOUR application. This lube, plus RCBS SMALL BASE dies verk Just Fine for me.....

Whilst GONRA is a STP Oil Treatment "case lube promoter" remember that Tri-Flow synthetic grease (3 oz. tubes available in bike shops, maybe Auto Parts stores?) is really good too! Preferred lube for .50 BMG. 3 oz. tube does at least 1200 "scrap dealer case resizing preps". Tube makes it really easy...
