Re: Powder?

HS6 is a great choice. In my load notes, I did very well between 6.0-6.4 grs with a 40gr Vmax in the PS90...

Re: 5.7x28 Random Reloading Discussions

Heres a bit of data from a recent outing... AutoComp in the PS90 is nearly un-touchable for consistency, smooth operation, and reliability in all of my testing - and all of these rounds came out of the Dillon, so it obviously meters well... 5.2-5.5 grs of AutoComp with a 40gr Vmax is my prefered 'sw...

Re: 5.7 brass-let's get loaded

http://fototime.com/874038FB0A488C3/standard.jpg Looks like some older stuff in here and differences in the primer staking. Seems that the case in the upper left is suspect, and I don't wanna take any chances. There is nothing wrong with the Top Left piece of brass... Just the opposite actually - t...

Re: 5.7x28 Random Reloading Discussions

Has anyone tried titegroup to reload with I am reloading 40 gr nosler ct and have been using accurate 5 it has been doing well but don't like it for my other weapons and want to try to stick with hogdon powder because it is easy to get in my area. I also use clays for some of my bullets but figured...

Re: iFire's PS90/FsN Subsonic Data

I'm curious about hand loading subsonic rounds for my FiveseveN. I have mixed reports about the slide not chambering new rounds without a suppressor. Can you please confirm or deny these reports? As well as add anything else you would like with regards to the topic. Thanks, The subsonics I have lis...

Re: 5.7x28 Random Reloading Discussions

iFire, couple o questions for ya here; What are the chances of making a list of powders that are unsuitable and/or dangerous so no one unknowingly tries them? Yeah I could work on something like a 'bad" powder list - I would have to put some thought into what that would look like since some powders...

Re: 5.7x28 Random Reloading Discussions

The above + a few other things... I really enjoy the PS90 platform - but it only comes in one caliber 5.7x28... If it came in other calibers one could simply move up to the largest caliber they wanted/needed ( ie AR's come in a whole bunch of calibers so you can pick the size that is right for your ...

Re: 5.7x28 Random Reloading Discussions

There was also an additional article on No. 9 specifically that was somewhat interesting.... describing how and when they switched over to the new manufacturer in FL. Unfortunately, the article was a bit iffy on whether he actually received the NEW No. 9 because there was a label on the canister ma...

I once left some nickel 223 brass in mean green for a few days. The nickel was completely gone - leached into the solution

Re: PS90 Owners I Need Your HELP!

I have two 90's - One with a modified mag catch spring and one with the stock spring. The modified gun works perfect while the stock gun will pop the mag from time to time. The increased tension of the heavier spring on the mag catch will prevent the mag from ever popping up. IMO that is the problem...

I use Mean Green in my sonic cleaner with great results. I have even used Dawn Soap in it with great results...

6-7 minutes in the sonic cleaner before and after resizing.

Re: Lacquer coating solution

Any tips on polishing the die? Dremel? Try my suggestion above first (if you want) and see if it solves your problem (it did for me...) Then, if you need to still, you can get cotton polishing heads for the dremel and they also make red polishing compound - you would want to make sure that the poli...

Thanks guys :D I have a cluttered reloading bench in the basement full of everything... I may have to post...

I will load up and run them again note I've not used a chrno that much how far from it should I be these were shot from like 1 1/2 to 2 feet. The distance you need to be away from the chronograph depends on how picky your chronograph is... I prefer about 8 feet away with my chrony, however some chr...

they look awsome!! I have a question about NTX... you said that the energy of these is not as much as the 40g but when I look at your data it seems to b the other way around. Thanks - they turned out pretty nice :D About the energy - the 40g loads definitely have more energy potential, no doubt abo...
