Re: FN 2000 and Steyr AUG

Have you looked at the replacement front end for the FS2000?
The TAVOR should now be thrown into your thinking.

Re: SCAR vs HK 556a

The Ruger 556 is a fine rifle. But to me it is very top heavy and nose heavy. After handling the SCAR and going to another platform is tough for me. The felt recoil is also much different. The only issue that I have with RUGER is it is INVESTMENT CASTING. I do not know if they do it wil the 556 but...

Re: Viridian X5l (gen 2) with pics!

Hi, Regarding the vertical POI shifting, on the FNH FiveseveN, the X5L Gen2 can be clamped with BOTH rail mount screws...just shove the unit forward and the second hole will line up. Utilizing both mount screws will greatly reduce the rocking. You will find that a small amount of movement remains d...

Re: SCAR vs HK 556a

I would take the HK, and it isn't close. The SCAR is decent, don't get me wrong, but I really feel it isn't worth its price, not in the least. Accuracy is not great. I have shot quite a few 17s and one 16, and none, I repeat none grouped under an inch. For their price, that is a must for me. Don't ...

This is still a fantastic option IMHO. If its not for you, its not for you, but this is what I plan to put on top of my AUG-Heavy Barrel project in 5.56. http://www.clearlyoptics.com/images/trijpicta648rmr.jpg http://mitglied.multimania.de/SSTeam/1384a.jpg :thumb: http://i968.photobucket.com/albums...

. Just goes to show, " Different strokes for different folks, " I worship my SCAR 16s and 17s. They are properly scoped and are the best thing since popcorn ! They are an origional but still borrow some of the best of other platforms - { HK G36, AR, etc. } Then again what system doesn't { AK47 from ...

Re: Finally got my FS2000 in

So, I measured the FS2000 barrel and its 16" actual barrel and 1.44" of compensator, so I'm not sure why I had such a substantial pressure drop in my M4. I guess being its a Bushmaster, its not the highest of quality and the FS2000 likely has a better chamber, etc. That's my assumption at the momen...
