Re: Is the AR 57 CA compliant?

In case you haven't looked up what California has done to law-abiding gun owners, here is a summary of a ballot measure that PASSED and is now, or soon to be, law. A great place to ask your question is 308ar.com. There are very knowledgeable people on that forum. They don't mind answering questions at all. They can direct you to what you need.

Re: AR-57 as an alternative to the PS-90

My AR57 works fine, but I ordered 50 round magazines that don't seem to fit all that well. I had to take a rubber mallet to get them in! They have gotten a bit better with some wear, but still very tight. I cannot remember who I ordered those from. They look the same, but they did NOT come in FNH b...

Re: An email from a friend

When my local store gets ammo in stock, it is usually not very much and sells quickly. However, it is usually priced at per-hysteria prices ($21 for 50 Federal 45 ACP, $10.50 for Tula 9mm, and $25 for 20 Fusion .308) and no box size limitation. I have seen 200 or 250 rd packs of 45 ACP, but I have n...

Re: Texas fertilizer plant explosion

I heard what sounded like thunder at the time. It's about 50 miles west of me. I have staff and patients that felt much more than I did. A couple of patients knew people who were involved. It's a sad situation. I pray for all affected by the explosion. Here is a video of the blast for those who have...

Re: Completely unrelated, multivitamins

Flax seed is another source of Omega3. However, I am unsure of the dosing for that. A word of caution, rancid flax seed oil can be harmful for the prostate. So be sure it is fresh.

Also, 2000 mg of good quality, mercury-free fish oil will help with triglycerides and lowering cholesterol. If you get nasty "fish burps", try the enteric type. I recommend Omega3 supplements to my patients frequently for dry eyes. I usually suggest to not take them on an empty stomach and try putt...

FN branded Galco holsters are available at CDNN. FiveseveN holster is $49.99. There are separate holsters for 45's and 40/9 that are $39.99. It appears to be the same holster I got when I bought my FNP45 earlier this year.

More than not, mine have come from a local gun shop. He and his staff come to me and I give them a deal and he gives me a deal. Second place is gun shows where I see something that strikes my fancy and I can't resist (and have the money).

I saw some at the local gun show today (south of Dallas) that they wanted $50/box. They also wanted $40/box for SS195. I politely declined and kept moving.
