kimber 10mm what springs?

picked up a kimber eclipse custom ii a few weeks back and was wondering what springs (lb wise) i should get? of course, i plan to be using some of my EA 10mm stash as defense rounds, not watered down off the shelf stuff.

Re: Raging bull vs S&W

I really thought I updated this thread, must have been another one. I ended up buying a the S&W .460 with the 8 3/8" barrel. Man it is a fun gun! Of course the first time I took it out I started with .460 and then .454 and lastly 45LC. At the end I wanted to toss in a few more .460 and found the pro...

Re: Welp, looking for a second pistol.

I can't find 9mm anywhere near me, but 40 and 45 is there (at certain stores). I really love EAA guns, very economical and they shoot amazing! I also prefer 10mm, which is similar to the 5.7 in a strange way lol.

Re: Pocket handgun for coyotes?

The witness poly on the EAA site says it is 11oz heavier unloaded (almost double), an inch longer, and a half inch wider. I carry my warthog (24oz) in my pocket all the time, but when I am wearing a belt, not so much in basketball shorts, I like to keep my pants above my @$$ lol

Re: Pocket handgun for coyotes?

jay, while i LOVE my EAA and will gladly buy more, it did not fit this intention due to weight and size. i needed a small gun to fit in my pocket for late night "quick the dog is about to sh*t on the floor" moments. not ordinary carry where i can have it on my hip.

Re: Pocket handgun for coyotes?

Yea, the safety will never (intentionally) be used.

The pf9 does look a lot nicer in a "it won't slip out of my hand" kinda way.

Re: Pocket handgun for coyotes?

well last night i went to gander and was looking around. i just about bought a north american arms 22mag, but ended up picking up the lc9. they had a pretty good deal on it, i got it and a box of ammo out the door for just under 400. i feel that is a fair price seeing as online was just about that m...

Re: Pocket handgun for coyotes?

I have only shot the p22 a few times and ice enjoyed it, never had any firing problems. Are they reliable? That is the biggest need here for me. Accuracy I don't care all that much about since it will be very close range.

Re: Pocket handgun for coyotes?

Well I will just have to find me a pf9 online and have it shipped to my dealer. He said it would be awhile before they got any in.

Re: Pocket handgun for coyotes?

That's what I was originally asking, if a 22lr would be a good choice. I like the p22, it's a fun little shooter. I'm not going hunting for these things, the longest distance would be ~6ft (length of leash).

Re: Pocket handgun for coyotes?

I know the lcp would work, it worked on a 125+lb dog a few years back. But that is on my gf's bike pouch, would hate to take it from there and not put it back and her be without it.

Re: Pocket handgun for coyotes?

True, but I'm pretty sure a light load of 45acp will still go right through it. I want an xds for my pocket, just maybe not coyotes lol.

Re: Pocket handgun for coyotes?

I really want an xds too, but figured for this purpose a 45 might be a bit much, too much over pen for an approx 45-50lb dog.
