Re: Lone Survivor?

That's really it! My biggest thoughts is that the widows and families agree with way it was presented and are hopefully receiving a buttload of the 38.5 mil it took in in the first weekend.

Lone Survivor?

Who's gone to see it and what is your take on the Hollywood version?

Mine is they stayed as close to the book as they could without Peter Berg breaking his promise to the families.
My two issues were Axelson's death and them showing Luttrell walking out of harms way and when they rescued him

Re: Any Incidents in Range Stories

I was in a range in Florida years ago when a guy came in a rented a pistol, walked out to the range and loaded one round in a Berretta and shot himself in the head. Only other "accident" that was close was had a guy at the same range firing a Ruger Blackhawk with his reloads. Guess he double charged...

Rugers piston AR's are one of the best buys on the market! You get reliability, brand recognition, on the .223's the sights and rail system is

Re: Dont lose a gun fight in the first 3 seconds…

From what I've read in the past the average is 3-7 ft. with anywhere from 3-7 rounds being expended. Most people afterwards report firing less than they actually do. But you still have to keep in mind the old school 21 ft. rule, that says anyone within 21 ft. can close on you before you can draw, pr...

Re: Dont lose a gun fight in the first 3 seconds…

In a fight, nothing is right or wrong! It only matter who wins or survives.... With ALL the "Tactical Trainers" out their debating their system as the greatest and bestest, everyone seems to forget that the best weapon in a fight is your BRAIN! My take on it would be the same, wait, le the situation...
