Jay, do you suspect the Magnetospeed adds in some correcting factor to account for the difference in velocity from the muzzle to the point where it reaches closer to max velocity?

If magneto makes it easy & engineers a rail mount for it, I'm in. Until then, it's not worth it to me . It appears they do in fact make a rail mount now. https://magnetospeed.com/products/v3-rail-adapter This adapter will allow the MagnetoSpeed V3 to be used on most pistols and short barreled rifle...

LOL Yeah the drawings would be helpful. I could work off that and find the common axis and other standard dimensions elsewhere. But if someone has the one produced by LEE (that I could borrow for a week and return with a few hundred pieces of brass for your trouble), that would be awesome too.

Does anyone have a Lee Pro 1000 5.7 plate that I could reverse engineer? I have a good friend with a mill and he would probably give me a great price if we did a run of, say, 10 of them. Definitely cheaper than Lee's price.

Re: Nickel Plated 5.7 ????
All good questions. For all we know these could have been loaded/shot 5 times and then resized and plated to make them look great and sell at a premium.

Re: California legal?
A dealer, LE, other peace officer or some other party that was exempt bought it, and sold it to you or someone else. That's how people in PRK legally get pistols that are off-list. Thru PPT.Ehmark wrote:So how exactly did I get my OD FsN if only black is approved?

I think you could make a functional AR look just like a paintball gun now. If you were into that sort of thing.

HA, that twenty miles thing reminds me. At my last job I built the server and all the PCs in the office, and the weekly backup drive that I took off site, when plugged into the server would pop up "Z:\DATASS" So when I was out of town on a survey the receptionist would have to back DATASS up for me.

SOLD
I got these as a birthday gift 2 years ago and have never used them. They look and feel very nice. I already have Bose in-ear buds and a nice set of phones with a mic, so I don't think I'll ever need these. Will consider trades for ammo and/or mags. New, open package. Re: Survival location
That is ridiculous for WY. Stay away from the movie-star second home retreat areas and 250K will go a very long way while staying in proximity to hospitals. The weather there sucks though. Weather isn't much better in AK. Whats the reasoning for staying away from yellowstone? Scared of the caldera? ...
