The current guy - who cares what his name is, he has the physicality similar to a Sean Connery. It works - at least by the box office numbers. http://www.the-numbers.com/movies/series/JamesBond.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; But hey, it is all about the bucks - Casino Royale was ...

Re: Quantum of Solace

I liked it and actually the greedy grubbers (US and Brit) are part of the real world (note wallstreet meltdown in complicity with the US government). The latest Bond movies are edgy and they are less cartoonish than the post Sean Connery crap. What was interesting was the Frog bad guy - he never tol...

Re: What do you guys think of Kahrs?

I have the Kahr MK9 elite stainless steel. I have put about 500 rounds through it with no problem (I bought it used but like new wear wise). A very nice gun but a little pricey if you buy new. I like the feel and it comes with the extended mag for a little more grip. Heavy enough to hurt someone if ...

Re: Soap Box: Speakup to the Senate on the Auto Bailout

I am by no means anti-union, in fact I think the well run unions are great for industry and labor. However, this CNSNews article makes a good point. Why should average Americans making $28.50 per subsidize union workers who average $73 per hour? Union Workers at Big Three Automakers Average $73 an H...

I have a Glock 23 that is a nice size for a carry and very nice to shoot. Even my 15 year old son can handle the G23. But the FiveSeven is awful fun to shoot, especially with Elite Ammo. If you have the money the Kahrs are also nice and compact. The Polymers are very light.

Illegal Immigrants Accused Of Getting Tax Refunds. How about making a few bucks in the US as an illegal alien, pay in a few $100 in tax withholding and than claiming 4 or 5 dependents and getting $500 per head as the child tax credit using a phoney SSI#? Guess what - it is going on all over, they ju...

Soap Box: Speakup to the Senate on the Auto Bailout

Our senators are beginning the debate on bailing out our pathetic Big 3 auto industry. I sent my senators the following message. Sorry, if I offend anyone, but the US needs to get our <profanity> together, and I am tired of paying taxes for endless bailouts. Dear Senator Salazar, I want to express m...

They're waiting for the price jack after the new ban - this guy that is going to be the new chief of staff is anti gun too and was in with the Clintons during the last ban. Another good thing to buy is high capacity magazines, but even Midwayusa has even upped their Stoner mags from $11.99 to $17.9...

Buying an AK-47, a couple more mags for the five seven, some extra mags for the WASR. You may want to consider a Saiga. I have a couple of the Saiga AK type rifles, one chambered in 223 and the other in 308. A nice cost effective alternative to your standard AK47. High capacity magazines are availa...
