Re: Best way to conceal a fiveseven?

This method only works if you are flat stomached but is my personal favorite. I have tried a lot of different things and I have found this to be the most hidden, very comfortable and very fast; even with a full sized gun such as the FiveseveN. http://www.smartcarry.com" onclick="window.open(this.hre...

Re: Federal HST 9mm

I carry the 124gr +p 9mm load in my CZ P-01. Accurate, reliable and consistent expansion almost identical to the pic above. Not to mention the stuff is cheap for what is! It is the best carry ammo available in my opinion. Chuckd, thanks for nothing about letting the cat out of the bag on this one. F...

Re: Taurus Judge .410 Revolver and Ammunition Review

Nice review but I can't say the same about the gun. I know a few people who own Taurus products and I have read a lot of the reviews (particularly on this gun), I have to keep it real, sorry. What a crappy company and stupid gun. Taurus sucks.

If I ever end up getting a 10mm, that is the one I want! An all black model with a rail on the bottom would sick too though.

Re: CZ 75 SP-01

Neverfox, Yes I own both the CZ P-01 (the smaller one) and the FSN. I shoot both pretty regularly and have a lot of confidence in both of them. I really like the P-01 because is can pull double duty as a holster gun or a concealed carry gun. The P series CZ 75's are a third generation gun with many ...

Re: Five-seveN dress up

You can add a hogue handall grip, get the +10 rd mag extention, order custom ammo from elite and mount whatever type of light/laser you want on the rail. That is about all you can practically/safely do to "dress up" or "deck out" the fiveseven.

Re: Remington 700 action

Well I took her out the range yesterday and I can say I am thoroughly impressed! I fired 40rds to see what type of ammo works best and see how the rifle handles. I sighted the scope in for 1" high at 100 meters which only took about 15rds. Even with bulk winchester 147gr fmj I was able to keep all t...

Re: Remington 700 action

Tighten up those screws under the receiver and check again. I actually kind of had a whoopsie on that. When I first took the action out of the stock, I didnt pay attention to the length of the screws and where they came from (yeah, It was my first new gun in a while, I was too excited to pay close ...

Re: Remington 700 action

I really dont think there is anything wrong. This is my first bolt action that I have owned, even though I use the M24 at work. The action on the M24 is a little stiff but it is no where near this. The bolt and reciever have a matte black finish which has a very rough, scratchy feel to it. That coul...

Remington 700 action

I just picked up a new Remington 700 SPS Tactical chambered in .308win. I have wanted one for a while and one of my favorite local gun shops had one in stock for $580. I got it home, played with it a little, did a basic functions check and noticed how rough the action was. The action was very hard, ...

Re: Five-Seven FTE

I would guess you have a broken/faulty exctractor spring or your extractor claw it'self is flawed and is not gripping the rim correctly. Sometimes the claw portion of the extractor gets rounded for whatever reason and doesnt hold the case right to fling it out.

Re: Keep It Civil

FN and Nato are probably the only "big names" who have tested and published the results. Brassfetcher did test it but their results are way off from all the testing I and others have done. I also hear that they are a very shadey crowd and not good people to do business with. Honestly dude, I dont me...
Are you saying it created a 4" wide hole 10" deep? Or is this just the maximum cavity? How "elastic" is this dead pig compared to a human torso? Are we seeing temp cavity, or permanent?
Yes. The hole was only .22" for the first 2" of penetration and then it was obvious the round star...

Re: Keep It Civil

Unobtanium, look at the link showing the gel and meat tests. I wanted similar information you are looking for when I first bought my FiveseveN. Meat testing (pork or sheep variety is best) is probably the most controlled, accurate wounding information you are going to get besides actually shooting a...

maybe i should take out my mag discon...make it easier to dry fire without having to pull the mag in and out after every shot. :guns: Like I said above, you dont have to keep inserting and dropping the magazine between shots. You only have to pull the slide back about one quarter of it's travel to ...
