I use the Lyman dies and those have been amazing for keeping the factory coating intact. I'm able to resize at times with a very light or no lube.

Hornady Black (90001) 40gr Vmax
Hornady is sending me 6 boxes of the Black as as well as the Critical Defense. I bought the 250 rounds for this testing from Patreon funds before I was able to get in contact with Hornady. They are using their own brass. The brass is on average 56gr vs the 60gr FN. It holds about 12.8gr of water vs ...

This is FN's "Defense" load for 5.7. This is a 30gr Barnes Varmint Grenade. In the past this has been loaded by other smaller loaders at speeds of up to 2,300 fps from the pistol. While we meet penetration depths, reliability is way down.

T6B will hit over 2300-2400 fps in the pistol. At distances of under 50 yards, IMO that's enough to help impart rifle like wounding on soft tissue.

Re: Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting - or at least using 40gr. V-MAX
Fiocchi USA loads all Commercial 5.7 ammo for the uS to include, Speer, SS197SR, Fiocchi, AE TMJ, and likely the new Hornady. Since it's likely to be licensed by FN it will be controlled velocity. Why 40gr vmax? Likely because it's a pointy bullet, so it will feed well, and it's long enough that the...

Re: Any actual decent ammunition out there yet?
SS190's design trumps any 5.7 design civilian wise for IIIA penetration because of the SS109 penetrator. Only metallic IIIA panels will stop it. However it's soft tissue performance is poor. 10" max typically.. This is where EA's T6B shines. It's long, it's light, it's fast, and it's pointy. It will...

The DBX from what I can tell won't need the coating as it's gas driven. You''re better off just leaving whatever coating is intact vs wasting time trying to strip it off.

Got pictures? Do you have EA's case gage? I believe that's normal from another picture I've seen of people using 1x brass.

What they are hinting at, do not know yet. Just parts to switch Mp7 over to 5.7? A semi auto Mp7 in 5.7 for US?

DevastaTOR 2.0 Velocity, Gel, Armor
I have a feeling this would out penetrate T6B, but I'm liking the slightly less penetration from the T6B over this. Would like to see the T6B return to 28gr and bump the speed back up.
